The Rosette - November 11, 2015

A glorious if rather chilly night, but well worth staying up late to image what has become one of my favorite nebulae, the Rosette. I again used Bill Burke's lovely old Astro Physics ED 6-inch refractor. It's long f/8 focal ratio nicely captured most of this object, with 3 stacked 5 minute exposures at ISO 6400 with my modified Canon 6D. Sometimes things work out just right :-)
